Printing Fault Lines

This is the second day of printing Fault Lines at ProStampa in Rome. Great technicians are making the whole process really easy, pages are looking great.

Invisible London published in Gioia

Gioia have just published the London project and have again used a brave layout.
But sometimes I do wonder why I spent so many years carefully learning the craft of framing an image to only include the information I wanted to put across. Maybe I should resort to using 6x7 in the future but I'm sure the photos will then be cropped to 35mm.
This seems to be so typical of so many magazines.

FT Magazine

The Financial Times magazine published a selection of my images from Georgia
"In the shadow of the bear". Not sure about their selection but I like the fact they used my title for the piece.

Last Friday in Milan a beautiful new Italian photography magazine was launched called Rear View Mirror, published by Postcart.

Serbia/Kosova in Diario magazine, Italy.

Diario magazine in Italy took the unusual and brave step for a magazine of first taking my photographs from Serbia and Kosova to mark the 10th anniversary of the war and then looking for a text to complimented the photos. I am happy to say that they used an extract from the book of Bosnian author Elvira Mujcic "and if Fuad had had dynamite".

New trip, Ukraine, Poland and Georgia

Vanessa and myself bought a new secondhand car, after the last one was put into retirement and have now set off on a 3 month road trip to Ukraine, Poland and Georgia via Paris and Milan.
I have just received a copy of La Vie magazine here in France with a feature they did in December of the Transit Ukraine work.
We should reach Ukraine in the last week of April for 2 1/2 weeks. If anyone in Ukraine or for that matter in Poland and Georgia wishes to meet up please drop me or Vanessa an email.

Courrier International France

Courrier International in France published my Turkey portfolio this week.

I feel they did a good job with the layout and managed to get a sense of the project within the confines of a limited space.
